About Tara

Tara has been a Psychologist for over 20 years. She spent 3 years working as an Educational Psychologist in the UK, where she worked in schools within the city of Liverpool, as well as on the Autism assessment and Early Years teams, and within an assessment school. Back home in Australia, Tara’s work has taken her all over Victoria. She has spent the past few years working on the statewide roll out of the Disability Inclusion Profile and worked in a regional private practice. Prior to this she worked in specialist, secondary and primary school settings, as well as in her private practice. Tara enjoyed a 12-year partnership with the Ronald McDonald Learning Program, where she completed assessments for children who had missed school due to significant illnesses.

Tara is particularly passionate about inclusion and supporting children with disabilities, developmental delays and neurodivergence. Her approach is strengths-based, affirming, and inclusive, ensuring every child’s voice is heard and needs are respected. Tara believes a collaborative approach, where she works closely with families, teachers, carers and allied health professionals, is essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes can be achieved for each child and young person she works with.

Tara is a Board-approved supervisor and enjoys supporting provisional and early-career psychologists.

Tara is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays
