About Tanya

Tanya is a registered Psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, young people, and families across education, healthcare, community, and high-risk environments. She is known for her warm, calm, and compassionate approach, creating a space where children feel safe, understood, and supported to reach their full potential.

Tanya provides comprehensive educational and developmental assessments, helping families gain clarity around learning strengths and challenges, cognitive functioning, attention and concentration, behavioural and emotional needs, and school-based support planning. She is committed to helping parents and educators understand a child’s unique learning profile, ensuring that recommendations are practical, evidence-based, and tailored to support success at home and at school.

Throughout her career, Tanya has worked in a variety of settings, including secondary schools, private practice, community health, mental health services, and large-scale organisational environments. She is recognised for her ability to form genuine, trusting relationships with children and families and for her collaborative work with teachers, school leaders, and other allied health professionals.

Tanya brings strong clinical judgement, advanced assessment skills, and a grounded understanding of child development to her work. She is passionate about ensuring every child feels seen, valued, and supported, and she works closely with families to empower them with knowledge, clarity, and confidence moving forward.

In addition to her clinical work, Tanya has held senior wellbeing and leadership roles where she has designed and delivered large-scale mental health, wellbeing, and safety programs. This background enhances her holistic view of child wellbeing and strengthens her ability to navigate complex presentations with care and sensitivity.

Tanya works every second Saturday.
